The ESBC Business Springboard Boost scheme is aimed at new and existing small and medium sized businesses located in East Staffordshire wishing to grow and expand their business.
The scheme is also aimed at local entrepreneurs who need some financial support to make their business idea a reality.
The “free after 3” parking scheme offers free parking in the Coopers Square and Burton Place (Lower) car parks in Burton upon Trent and the Maltings car park in Uttoxeter every day after 3pm.
The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Triage Service, run by the National Careers Service on behalf of the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership, provides free individual support, advice and careers information and guidance for employers.
This is a support programme for people with ambitions to set up their own business. The advice and practical help needed to start a business is available for free with a team of business start-up advisers. The service takes you through business planning, cash forecasting, marketing and market research, legal and financial requirements.
The Make it Stoke and Staffs team provide business support and advice on relocations and new premises within the County.
The team provides advice to those looking to invest in terms of key development sites and commercial property and can provide information on local workforces and economies.
Later this autumn, Staffordshire County Council will launch its Multiply programme – an adult numeracy skills scheme to help people boost job prospects and improve their day-to-day living.
The county council secured £4.2million from the Government as part of the £570million Multiply scheme. It is a three-year fully funded programme, giving people the opportunity to learn when and where they want. The scheme will be accessed through a new digital numeracy platform and local courses that will range from learning festivals to pop-up one to one support sessions.
