I was born in Richmond Street in the middle of Burton upon Trent in 1962 and have lived here, in this wonderful borough, all of my life.
After leaving Wulfric School, I studied at Broomfield Horticultural College before working in the transport industry for 25 years. I now enjoy being a self-employed gardener, live in Brizlincote and have one son, Conor.
I became a borough Councillor in 2015 representing Brizlincote ward and also served as Brizlincote Parish Council chairman for 2 years.
In what little spare time I have, I enjoy walking and birdwatching and am a member of the R.S.P.B and The National Trust. I enjoy rock/blues music and it takes me to various live concerts and gigs all over the country.
I am passionate about promoting the borough of East Staffordshire and the proud history of Burton upon Trent during my year of office.
