The In Bloom federation of East Staffordshire is a collective group whose members comprise of technical officers from East Staffordshire Borough Council’s Horticultural and Grounds maintenance departments as well as members of local community groups and parish councils.
The aim of the group is to develop strategies and support entries into the regional Heart of England in bloom campaign from across the Borough. In 2019 the group successfully made entries in: Burton, Uttoxeter Branston and Winshill in bloom, with Uttoxeter claiming a category win.

2020 Juding Dates
In 2020, East Staffordshire will submit a total of 4 entries to the regional In Bloom awards, plus following it's category win in 2019, Uttoxeter will be entered into the national awards.

ESBC’s Greenhouse centre and Go Garden project in Uttoxeter supports the group by offering free plants for community gardening projects as well as expert horticultural advice and support. The aim of the federation is to encourage more local groups to become involved in community gardening projects which will greatly enhance the beauty and environmental quality of the borough.
