East Staffordshire Borough Council is proud to announce its first-ever Green Business Networking event, in partnership with Staffordshire Business and Environmental Network (SBEN).

Last autumn saw a new £10.5 million initiative launched to help East Staffordshire residents save on energy bills through home improvements. 

May is National Walking month and what better way to enjoy the great outdoors than by participating in the National Forest Walking Festival! 

The Community and Civil Enforcement team at East Staffordshire Borough Council have successfully won an appeal against a man who acted against a Public Space Protection Order and failed to produce a receptacle for dog waste.

More than 30 events have been lined up to help celebrate the 9th annual Staffordshire Day next month.

Following a full Council meeting on Monday 18th March 2024, East Staffordshire Borough Council has adopted a refreshed Corporate Plan, which outlines how the Council will deliver and build upon its many services and how it will support residents over the next 12 months.

The crème-de-la-crème of Staffordshire tourism and hospitality were crowned at this year’s Enjoy Staffordshire Tourism and Good Food Awards, held at The National Memorial Arboretum, on Thursday 14th March.

The Brewhouse Arts Centre’s Spring/Summer season is well underway and there’s still lots to come.

Vegan Market Co, an organiser of some of the UK’s leading Vegan Markets have announced they’ll bring a Vegan Streetfest to Burton upon Trent’s Market Place on Saturday 15th June from 10.30am-4pm.

The Mayor of East Staffordshire, Cllr Syed Hussain, flew the Commonwealth National Flag at Burton Town Hall on Monday 11th March at 11:00am to mark Commonwealth Day 2024.
