East Staffordshire Borough Council is pleased to provide an update on its regeneration activities for Burton High Street since the Cabinet and Council decisions three months ago.

In October 2023, East Staffordshire Borough Council launched a £33,000 Food Aid Fund designed to financially support up to ten free food providers at a rate of £550 a month for a six month period, across the colder winter months, aimed at supporting those organisations in more financial difficult

East Staffordshire Borough Council has announced the Christmas opening hours for its facilities.

The main council offices will close on Friday 22nd December at 4:00pm and will open again at 9:00am on Tuesday 2nd January.

East Staffordshire Borough Council can confirm that the Chair of the Burton upon Trent Town Deal Board, Ben Robinson MBE, has tendered his resignation to the secretary of the Town Deal Board.
