A remembrance parade is to go through Burton upon Trent on Sunday 12th November, forming at Burton Library car park from 9:30am and departing at 9:50am.

East Staffordshire Borough Council has today confirmed that Burton’s Christmas Lights Switch On will return to the Market Place on Sunday 26th November 2023. The fun will get underway at 1pm with Rangemore School Choir and conclude at 5.30pm with fireworks.

East Staffordshire Borough Council is having to return Section 106 funding that was received from a developer, for building off-site affordable housing.  

The sum involved was £398,447 and was returned because the spending deadline had expired on 27th March 2023.
