A reminder that items such as black bags, used tissues and kitchen roll must be placed in your grey bin.
What you can put into your grey bin?
General household items that cannot be taken through any recycling scheme, such as:
- Nappies
- Pet Waste
- Bubble Wrap
- Waxed cartons including Tetra Pak (soup, juice and milk cartons)
- Plastic Film
- Plastic carrier bags
- Polythene
- Polystyrene
- Rigid plastic items
- Crisp packets and sweet wrappers
- Coat Hangers
- Black plastic trays
- Plant pots
- Vacuum Cleaner Contents
- Meat, fish and bones
- Vegetable and fruit peelings
- Bread
- Tea bags
- Egg shells
- Coffee grounds
Please note that we will only collect waste that is contained within the grey bin and we cannot accept DIY waste e.g. wood, rubble, bricks, plaster.

We collect on bank holidays (excluding Christmas and New Year).
