The ESBC Boosting Business Programme scheme is aimed at new and existing small and medium sized businesses located in East Staffordshire wishing to grow and expand their business.

The scheme is also aimed at local entrepreneurs who need some financial support to make their business idea a reality.

The fund is now open for business and is competitive on a first come first served basis and will be kept open until the available funding is fully allocated.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for support, the business must comply with the scheme’s entry criteria outlined in the scheme's guidance notes.

What can I apply for?

Existing businesses can apply for up to £10,000 with up to 60% match funding.

For eligible new start-up companies that have been trading for less than twelve months, a slightly lower maximum grant of up to £5,000 is available, although a grant rate of up to 60% is still available.

How match funding works

A project totalling £2,000 can potentially be awarded a grant of up to £1,200 (60%) with the applicant making up the gap (the ‘match’ which in this case will be £800).

How can I apply?

Interested applicants are invited to contact the Council's Enterprise team who can provide an application form.
