Parliamentary General Election 2024

The Parliamentary General Election will be held on Thursday 4th July 2024.

Information for Electors

Please note that the deadline to register to vote has now passed.

Please note that the deadline to apply for a postal vote has now passed. 

If you have received your postal vote and wish to hand it in at a Polling Station you will be asked to fill in a form. If this form is not completed your vote will not be counted.

Please note that the deadline to apply for a proxy vote has now passed.

All electors must show photographic identification in Polling Stations when voting in person. The most common forms of ID are a passport, driving licence or bus pass. The full list can be found here: www.gov.uk/how-to-vote/photo-id-youll-need

If you do not have suitable photographic id you can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate.
