Following the Government’s recent announcement that playgrounds and outdoor gym equipment can reopen from Saturday 4th July, East Staffordshire Borough Council is reminding residents of the importance of respecting our parks and open spaces so they can be enjoyed safely by everyone.
To help stop the spread of Coronavirus, visitors should:
- Use hand sanitiser to clean hands before and after use
- Wipe surfaces before and after use
- Social distance from other people
- Wash hands when you get home
The Council has put in place additional patrols and bin emptying, and local residents are being reminded to take their rubbish home to help keep parks and play areas safe. The Council is encouraging people to eat and drink away from play and gym equipment.
Disposable face coverings and gloves must be disposed of as they cannot be recycled.
