Brewhouse to showcase local artists in a new online exhibition

The Brewhouse Arts Centre is encouraging local and regional artists to share their creative talents, as part of the venue’s annual open exhibition.

The ‘Brewhouse Open’ exhibition, which usually sees work from local artists exhibited in the gallery at the Brewhouse, will this year be replaced by an online gallery.

Deputy Leader for Regulatory and Community Services, Councillor Bernard Peters said: “We love to champion the creative talent of all our local artists from East Staffordshire and beyond. We’re always excited to see new work and this year we’re particularly keen to celebrate work created during lockdown.”

The exhibition is open to all artists producing all creative media and styles, including textiles, paintings, drawing, collage, photography, ceramics, sculpture, small installations, media and crafts.

The deadline for artists to upload and submit images of their work is the 5th July 2021. The exhibition of all the work will then be available online from the 19th July 2021 until the 4th September 2021.
