Burton Market to host Craft Market

On Saturday 5th June Burton Market will host its first Craft Market since lockdown.

Shoppers can expect stalls from a wide range of makers and traders from across the local area, selling a variety of handmade and one-off items.

Unlike previous Craft Markets, stalls will be situated outside only, in the Market Place, to ensure social distancing. A limited number of stalls available from as little as £16.50. Traders can also take advantage of inclusive public liability insurance cover for an additional £3, making it the perfect place to trader for small and start-up businesses.

Councillor Bev Ashcroft, Deputy Leader for Leisure, Amenities and Culture, said: “The return of the craft market to Burton is another small step back towards normality. For anyone who has been busy crafting during lockdown, this is a great opportunity to sell your wares so make sure you book a stall.”
