Retailers at Burton Market Hall to re-open

Following the Government’s roadmap announcement on Monday 5th April, non-essential retailers at Burton Market Hall will re-open from Monday 12th April.

The Outdoor Market will also welcome back non-essential retailers from Thursday 15th April 2021.

Both markets and the traders will operate strict safety procedures including social distancing, enhanced cleaning, one way systems and limited visitor numbers. Hand sanitiser stations will be available across both markets as well as outdoor seating areas.

Visitors are asked to pay by card where possible.

Tracey Heap, Owner of Summerhouse Bakery, said: “All of us at Summerhouse Bakery are thrilled to finally be welcoming all of our customers back, old and new. We’ll be offering the same great food, friendly high quality service in an exciting new outside location.”

Non-essential retailers can rent daily pop up stalls in Burton Market Place from just £16.50 per day.
