Following the first Christmas in Burton event, as Burton’s Christmas Lights were switched on by Richard Winterton on Sunday 27th November, East Staffordshire Borough Council’s programme of events continues into December with festive markets at Burton Market Hall and Place.
Shoppers will be able to experience a festive treat, as the ever-popular Craft Market returns on Saturday 3rd December. Featuring a wide range of traders and makers from across the local area, it’s the perfect place to pick up that one off Christmas gift you wouldn’t find on the high street.
On Saturday 10th December, a Festive Food Market comes to Burton’s Market Place, featuring a wide range of food and drink stalls, hot food vendors, family entertainment and a visit from Santa!
Cllr Bev Ashcroft, Cabinet Member for Tourism and Cultural Development, said: “There are a number of wonderful Christmas events taking place across Burton this winter. With a number of festive markets taking place this month, Burton Market Hall and Place has plenty to keep visitors busy in the run up to Christmas.”
