East Staffordshire Borough Council are pleased to announce that the jobs fair held at Burton Town Hall on Thursday 30th June was a great success. The event saw 48 employers advertise a variety of job opportunities to over 500 local jobseekers.
The fair, held by the Way to Work Partnership, saw employers such as Alton Towers, McDonalds, and Hilton Hotels networking with jobseekers from all across East Staffordshire.
Cllr George Allen, Leader of East Staffordshire Borough Council said: “I am really pleased to say this event was a huge success. We saw over 500 jobseekers at the fair, networking with a great range of employers. I would like to thank everyone that attended for making this jobs fair one to remember.”
