The Brewhouse Arts Centre is encouraging local and regional artists to share their creative talents, as part of the venue’s annual open exhibition, which this year celebrates Burton In Bloom.
The exhibition, which is open to artists producing all types of creative media and styles, aims to showcase work inspired by the great outdoors, local heritage, a sense of community or nature.
This comes as Burton upon Trent prepares for this year’s Heart of England In Bloom Awards, aiming for a 15th consecutive gold medal this summer.
Cllr Paul Walker, Cabinet Member for Tourism and Cultural Development, said: “The Brewhouse exhibition is a great way to celebrate last year’s Burton In Bloom success, whilst also highlighting the fantastic work produced by many of the Borough’s talented artists.”
The deadline for artists to submit images of their work is Friday 16th June 2023. The exhibition will then be available online, with a select few pieces on display at The Brewhouse throughout July and August.
