Council to Provide UKSPF Funding to Local Businesses

East Staffordshire Borough Council is pleased to announce it has commissioned three organisations to deliver business support services, funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (Funded by UK Government).

This fund looks to provide business support across a wide range of areas, including:

•    Work force development and training
•    Starting a new business
•    Looking to use new technology within a business
•    Building a stronger enterprise

Local businesses, looking to access support, are asked to register their interest as soon as possible by contacting enterprise.team@eaststaffsbc.gov.uk, using the subject line “More information on business support please”.

Businesses are encouraged to register their interest as soon as possible, as the funding available is time-sensitive. Registered businesses will receive further information from the Council’s Enterprise team who will be able to connect them with providers.

Cllr Rob Hawkins, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Development, said: “The Council continues to develop the Borough’s well-established culture of innovation and enterprise by providing a wide range of support to local businesses. Whether you are a sole trader, a start-up or even an entrepreneur considering starting your own business, I encourage you to register your interest today.”
