East Staffordshire Borough Council is proud to announce its first-ever Green Business Networking event, in partnership with Staffordshire Business and Environmental Network (SBEN).
The event will take place on Wednesday, 12th June 2024, from 9:30am to 1:00pm at The Brewhouse Arts Centre in Burton upon Trent.
The East Staffordshire Green Business Networking event aims to bring together local businesses to discuss and explore sustainable practices, share knowledge, and connect with industry experts.
Attendees will gain valuable insights on reducing their environmental impact and accessing targeted funding and support to help them achieve their sustainability goals.
Cllr Dennis Fletcher, Cabinet Member for Environment and Climate Change, said: “We are thrilled to host this ground-breaking event in partnership with SBEN. As a council, we are committed to supporting local businesses in their transition towards a greener future. This event provides a fantastic opportunity for businesses to learn, network, and take actionable steps to reduce their carbon footprint."
The event will feature expert speakers from various industries, sharing their experiences and best practices in implementing sustainable business models. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals and learn about the latest green technologies and initiatives.
