Please ensure that your bins remain available for collection from 6.30am until they have been emptied.
The collection crews do not finish their rounds before 2:30pm, so if you are reporting a missed bin before 2:30pm, we may not have reached you yet. Our crews also have to go to the tip site regularly to empty their vehicle - sometimes halfway through a street because their vehicle is full. They will come back to finish the street when they have emptied their vehicle.
You must report a missed bin before midnight on the next working day after your bin collection was due (unless you have an assisted collection). If you report it later than this, we will not be able to return to empty it.
Our crews let us know if your bin(s) was not collected for a reason, e.g. it was not out on time, it contained the wrong waste or was too heavy. If your bin(s) was not emptied for any of these reasons, we will not return to empty it. You should return your bin to your property and place it out on your next scheduled collection day.
If collections are suspended because of snow or other operational issues we will do our best to return as soon as possible. Please check our website for the latest information www.eaststaffsbc.gov.uk/bins-rubbish-and-recycling
Once you submit your form, our team will check whether your bin was out on time, was contaminated or whether it was missed. Our team will send you an e-mail to let you know if there was an issue with your collection so please provide a valid email address.
