East Staffordshire Borough Council will open the application process for small businesses to apply for grants from its Local Authority Discretionary Grant Fund on Thursday 6th August. The scheme will close for applications at midnight on Wednesday 12th August 2020.

The phased reopening, which won’t yet include any live performances, will enable visitors to take part in small socially distanced activities and workshops, whilst following new guidelines. 

East Staffordshire Borough Council has extended the deadline for small businesses to apply for grants from its Local Authority Discretionary Grant Fund. The scheme will now close for applications at midnight on Sunday 12th July 2020.

During the lockdown period Staffordshire County Council and Contractor Amey Highways have been able to continue with the regeneration works on Station Street.

At midday on Tuesday 7th July 2020 Stapenhill Cemetery reopened its gates to vehicular access.

Following the Government’s recent announcement that playgrounds and outdoor gym equipment can reopen from Saturday 4th July, East Staffordshire Borough Council is reminding residents of the importance of respecting our parks and open spaces so they can be enjoyed safely by everyone.

The Brewhouse Arts Centre, in partnership with leading arts organisation, Baby People, are on the lookout for talented young singers to take part in a new Isolation Sing Song Challenge.

A business grant fund has been relaunched by East Staffordshire Borough Council to support of small businesses in East Staffordshire during the coronavirus pandemic.

In April, East Staffordshire Borough Council’s Councillor Community Fund (CCF) re-opened for new applications.

A new parking app will be available for residents and visitors to East Staffordshire Borough Council car parks in Burton and Uttoxeter. The free to download app will allow you to pay for parking on your mobile phone.
